Located in Zhenghu community of Suzhou New District, Chinese Embroidery Art Gallery is the largest embroidery museum in China, covering an area of more than 8,000 square meters.
It was built in the style of traditional Suzhou gardens, providing visitors with an experience of ancient times.
In the gallery, visitors can not only learn about the developmental history of Chinese embroidery, but also appreciate a variety of embroidery works, such as Su embroidery in Jiangsu province, Yue embroidery in Guangdong province, Shu embroidery in Sichuan province and Xiang embroidery in Hunan province.
Embroidery performances and demonstration of sericulture, silk reeling, dyeing and fabric making are also available in the gallery.
