2016-12-16

Hohhot government took action to further integrate the city’s e-commerce and logistics sectors in order to boost its big data industrial chain.

Cai Yudong, deputy mayor of Hohhot, recently said the city’s government adopted a string of policies and measures to facilitate its logistics and e-commerce businesses when interviewed by a reporter from Economic Daily. According to Cai, funds will be set aside to improve the e-commerce affiliated parts including public services, clustering, a rewards system, platform creation, and training for five consecutive years. Procedures for e-commerce organizations’ registration will be completed in fewer steps.

When asked about the methods to help the logistics sector flourish, a supporting business for e-commerce, Cai said the city promises to allow it the priority in receiving land at a favorable price.

Hohhot has passed a string of rules and policies, such as a big data industrial development fund, big data industrial bureau, improvement of matching infrastructure, and subsidies, to meet the demands of the field around the region, Cai concluded.
