Dairy leader calls for more attention to product quality

2017-03-27

Pan Gang, chairman of the board and president of Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co Ltd, urged the continuation of supply-side structural reforms at the China Development Forum (CDF) 2017 on March 18.

"The key to the promotion of supply-side structural reforms is to improve the quality of products and services to customers, meeting increasing consumer demands," said Pan Gang at the forum.

Pan noted that we have to improve product quality in the following three aspects:

First, we should attach great importance to quality strategy and formulate clear and specific standards for the quality of products.

Second, we should make quality the core of our business culture. All staff members of a company should understand and realize the importance of product quality.

Third, we have to establish a quality assurance system that meets or exceeds international standards. Only when meeting international standards can we become more competitive in the international market.

CDF is China's most preeminent platform for dialogue between China's senior leadership and representatives from leading global companies, international organizations, and scholars from home and abroad.

The forum is attended by top executives and leaders from global corporations and institutions, renowned scholars, and China’s most senior ministers, local officials and leaders of Chinese firms.
