Hohhot releases adjusted transport timetable

Hohhot in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region has released the latest information on timetable adjustments to its buses, the metro and coaches in the city, according to news agency Xinhua.
Starting on March 30, the operating times for Hohhot Metro Line 1 is from 6:00 to 21:00. The operating interval between trains during the peak periods (7:00-9:00 hrs/ 17:00-19:00 hrs) has been shortened to 10 minutes.
The operating interval after 20:00 hrs is 20 minutes. The operating interval for the remainder of the timetable is 14 minutes.
Metro officials said follow-up adjustments will be made in a timely manner in accordance with novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control and passenger flows.
Passengers must wear masks on metro trains and present valid ID cards or other valid documents to enter metro stations, as well as help staff take temperature readings.

Starting March 29, a total of 77 bus lines in the city have resumed operation.
The first bus leaves at 6:10 hrs and the last bus leaves at 20:00 hrs. Passengers are required to wear masks on the bus. The number of passengers per bus is controlled to no more than six people per square meter.
The Hohhot Coach Terminal has resumed operations of inter-city coaches starting on March 28. It is estimated that the daily passenger flow will reach 700 passengers.
At present, the terminal has set up medical observation rooms, epidemic monitoring stations and temperature measurement points. Passengers must scan the QR code set up at the entrance and fill in the Passenger Information Registration Form.
