The Maple Leaf Bilingual School – Horinger officially opened in the Horinger New Area in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Sept 4, becoming the first full-time bilingual international school in the autonomous region, according to local media reports.

Maple Leaf Educational Systems will be responsible for the school's operation and management.

The bilingual school will have five sections: a kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, senior high school and a school for international students. A total of 4,550 students can be enrolled.

The school is available for both Chinese and international students, with an emphasis on English characteristics and the all-around development of students.
