The Mengniu Dairy (Group) Co (Mengniu Industrial Tourism Area) has been selected among the second batch of national-level civilized tourism demonstration units, according to the list announced by the National Tourism Standardization Technical Committee on May 8.

This has lifted the number of national-level civilized tourism demonstration units in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region to four.

The National Tourism Standardization Technical Committee is in charge of national tourism standardization work and is responsible for its technical management under the leadership of the relevant authority at the State Council.

The Mengniu Dairy (Group) Co (Mengniu Industrial Tourism Scenic Spot) is located inside the Mengniu China Dairy Industrial Park, in Horinger county of Hohhot. Over the years, it has been developed into a "viewable, participatory, informative, shoppable, and leisurely" industrial tourism operation system with an intelligent factory as its core.

The company has won various honors such as the first national demonstration point of industrial and agricultural tourism, the top 10 influential brands of Chinese industrial and agricultural tourism, and the demonstration unit of patriotic education in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
