First kite art festival takes flight in Hohhot

Hohhot's inaugural Kite Art Festival launched on April 5 at Daheihe Military Culture Park.
The park is divided into five main areas: the Kite Performance Zone, Free Flying Zone, Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Zone, Commercial Interaction Zone, and Food Train Zone.
Visitors can look forward to all-day activities such as giant kite performances, traditional kite-making demonstrations, exhibitions, and explanatory talks. Additionally, there will be a children's painting activity at the Inner Mongolia Museum in the afternoon.

The festival runs from April 4 to 28, with operating hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Visitors can find free parking at the South Gate Entrance of Daheihe Military Culture Park.
Regarding transportation, drivers can take the East Second Ring Expressway south towards the park road, then head east on Third Ring Road towards the park, or they can take the Hohhot North Expressway north towards the park. Alternatively, bus route 123 to "Babai Dong" or "Saihan District Market Supervision Bureau" will be made available for people who wish to visit the park (operating hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
