Hohhot gears up for National Day with cultural tourism events

Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, will host exciting and diverse cultural tourism events during the upcoming National Day holiday. These include immersive concerts, light shows, camping festivals, and traditional horse-riding performances.
The activities feature 65 key programs and span five major themes: National Day celebrations, interactive experiences, outdoor performances, ancient culture exhibits, and public cultural events.

Among the highlights are the "Standing on the Grassland, Gazing at Beijing" cultural performance, the Xinhua Square light show, the "I Love You, China" band concert, and the "Vibrant Ethnic Style" Ulan Muqir cultural show. Other notable events include the "Northern Glory" immersive concert and a thrilling aerial performance, "Songs of the Earth." Visitors can also enjoy exhibitions of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) jade artifacts and traditional Chinese opera shows.
The city will also promote cultural and tourism consumption through various online platforms, offering special discounts and events to enhance the holiday experience, such as the "Wonderful Golden Week" and "Autumn Shopping Festival."
