Jiuhe Smart Plant Factory in Hohhot's Inner Mongolia Yusheng Legufeng Modern Agricultural Industrial Park is redefining how vegetables are grown through a digital and intelligent management system.
The system precisely monitors and adjusts key environmental factors such as temperature, light, water, air, nutrients, carbon dioxide, and humidity, ensuring optimal conditions for plant growth in real time. The system has led to 95-98 percent water savings, a 90 percent reduction in fertilizer use, and a 70 percent decrease in labor costs.
Compared with conventional farming methods, the factory features high-efficiency, year-round production through precise environmental control. Multi-layered vertical farming produces output 50-100 times higher per unit area than traditional agriculture.
Thanks to technological advancements, the vegetables grown in the plant factory are fully traceable and contamination-free. Eliminating exposure to external pollutants and pathogens renders pesticide use unnecessary, resulting in cleaner, healthier, and more eco-friendly produce.
