Inner Mongolia's three ice and snow events to launch
A press conference was held in Hohhot on Nov 23 for the Inner Mongolia Ice and Snow Nadam Fair, Inner Mongolia Ice and Snow Hero Festival, and China-Russia-Mongolia International Ice and Snow Festival.
The conference outlined the arrangements for Hulunbuir's three major winter events. The 21st Inner Mongolia Ice and Snow Nadam Fair will open on Dec 21 at the Yimin River Cultural Leisure Corridor in Hailar district, Hulunbuir. The opening ceremony will focus on folk culture, using ice and snow sports as a medium and blending tradition with modern artistic expressions. The site will feature 11 functional areas, accommodating 3,000 visitors for interactive ice and snow experiences.
The Inner Mongolia Ice and Snow Hero Festival will be centered in Hailar district, offering two special self-driving routes, hosting three national-level competitions, and introducing four themed off-road tracks covering a variety of terrains, including snowfields. The festival's events will run from Dec 21 to March of the following year.
The China-Russia-Mongolia International Ice and Snow Festival will kick off on Dec 20 at a theme park in Manzhouli city, Hulunbuir. The festival will feature cultural and artistic exchanges among China, Russia, and Mongolia. Simultaneously, new cross-border tourism routes will be launched, allowing visitors to experience the region's unique ice and snow attractions while enjoying the cultural fusion of the three countries.
