To celebrate the Lantern Festival, Chongchuan district in Nantong invited several foreign friends to participate in traditional Chinese cultural activities, allowing them to experience the charm of China's heritage.

For instance, 12 foreign friends from countries such as Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Gambia, Indonesia, and Pakistan gathered in Tangzha Ancient Town on Feb 11. They participated in making rabbit-shaped lanterns, sugar painting, solving riddles, and preparing sweet rice dumplings – all traditional activities for the festival.

In addition, several foreign participants donned traditional hanfu clothing and joined in making lanterns, preparing rice dumplings, and admiring the colorful lantern displays at the Langshan Mountain Scenic Area on the evening of Feb 12, fully immersing themselves in the Lantern Festival atmosphere.
