Tianzhao Mountain National Forest Park, 15 kilometers away from Guangyuan city, has a forest coverage rate of 94 percent. The mountain is more than 1,500 meters above sea level, with a platform on the top. It is often shrouded in clouds and mist; hence its name "Tiantai". 

Tianzhao Mountain is famous for its religious temples. Its Buddhist temples include Foguang Temple, Xichan Temple, and Fantian Temple; among the Taoist temples there are Zushi Temple and Lingtai Temple. Religious activities are flourishing, and have brought into being a suburban forest park for worship, leisure and summer vacations.
