CIFIT to strengthen Maritime Silk Road development

A press conference of the 18th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) was held in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province, on August 5.

Officials with the 18th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) said the conference would have an authoritative, pragmatic and efficient platform for the cooperation and communication of countries and regions alongside the Maritime Silk Road, at an August 5 press conference in Fujian province.

Zhang Chanmin, deputy mayor of Xiamen and director of Conference Organizing Division of the Organizing Committee of CIFIT, said the conference will have a dedicated exhibition area for the new maritime Silk Road. The exhibition features investment opportunities, key projects and products providing by countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road and the Land Silk Road. Three forums will have a Maritime Silk road theme.

The 18th CIFIT invited merchants from countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road and Land Silk Road and will organize an exchange for them to share ideas on new development.
