Xiamen overseas investment exceeds $600m in 1st 7 months

From January to July, Xiamen added 60 new overseas investment projects, a year-on-year increase of 50 percent, said the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce on Aug 13.

The agreed investment amount reached $620 million, up 26.6 percent. Among them, Chinese investment was $590 million, an increase of 256.2 percent.

By the end of July, the total overseas investment project added up to 634, and total overseas investment amount reached $3.51 billion, in which Chinese investment was $2.65 billion.
