Officials urge better breakfast for Xiameners
The quality of breakfasts sold on streets in Xiamen city must be guaranteed and improved, according to Chen Canhuang, Party Secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, on Aug 20.
Chen and some officials from the bureau were inspecting production at a couple of enterprises which are responsible for providing breakfasts for residents under a partnership program called the “Breakfast Project”.
The project is closely related to the public’s needs and hence must be expedited with great importance, said Chen.
He also suggests the enterprises offer more kinds of breakfasts at a fairer price, and upgrade the condition of the mobile breakfast booths in the streets.
