Xiamen strengthens safety production at CIFIT
The Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce took four measures to strengthen safety production at the 18th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) during the Mid-autumn Festival, according to its website on Sept 4.
Based on the principle “Whoever is in charge is responsible for safety” and the requirement “A position has double responsibilities”, the primary responsibility for enterprise’s safety production and the system of chief executive responsibility should be effectively implemented.
The Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce strengthened the security management of some key places, such as the exhibition hall, the large-scale shopping mall and so on, assuring the safety of people and their property.
The Bureau carried out publicity and education about the laws and regulations on safety, and building a good atmosphere surrounding “Safety First”.
To assure the smooth operation of an emergency mechanism, the bureau adopted an accident emergency plan for safety and organized an emergency drill.
