Biennial intl landscape design expo to settle in Xiamen
The International Landscape Design Industry Association (ILIA) signed an agreement with the Xiamen government on Sept 14, to hold the International Landscape Industry Expo and the International Landscape Planning & Design Conference in Xiamen every two years.
The 2014 International Landscape Industry Expo and the 4th International Landscape Design Conference and Expo will be held in Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center on December 5th-7th, which will be sponsored by ILIA and the Beijing Forestry University Education Foundation.
As ILIA’s major activities, the International Landscape Industry Expo and the International Landscape Planning & Design Conference will inject vigor into Xiamen’s landscape design industry, and promote the development of “Beautiful Xiamen”.

Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
