UN purchases canned mackerels from Xiamen Gulong
The United Nations has purchased tons of canned mackerels from Xiamen Gulong Imp. & Exp. Company as relief goods for humanitarian aid, Fujian’s local news reported on Sept 18.
According to the news, the purchasing was for the commitment of the United Nations. “Security of the goods is the top priority in our purchasing. The United Nations only cooperates with suppliers offering high quality goods,” said officials from the United Nations Food Agriculture Organization.
“We value the cooperation with the United Nations,” said officials from Xiamen Light Industrial Company, adding that Xiamen Gulong has always maintained a high quality of products.
Xiamen Gulong is the only company that has won three national honors as “China Top Brand”, “China Export Brand” and “China Famous Brand”, and it is also the only company that has been recognized by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS).
As one of the earliest enterprises to register with the United Nations, Xiamen Gulong has become a major supplier of the United Nations since 2009. Over the years, the United Nations has purchased thousands of tons of canned food from Xiamen Gulong.
