Xiamen catering firms score in food festival
Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce organized eight catering enterprises at the 15th Chinese Food Festival held in Wuhan, in Central China's Hubei province from Sept 24 to 27. The eight enterprises from Xiamen won more than 20 prizes in the festival.
Zaolong Food Company cracks the top ten list of Chinese breakfast companies. Weroom Company won its place in the top ten list of Chinese stuffed bun shops. Xiaomaju Company was honored as one of the Chinese top ten restaurants for group meals. Ajia Food Company got a place in the Chinese top ten chain dining brands. Xiamen Syowa Company and Lujianfa Company won gold medals for Chinese catering equipment suppliers.

In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
