Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce has released three major economic tasks for 2015, which focus on innovation, opening-up and people’s livelihoods to facilitate the construction of “Beautiful Xiamen”.

Xiamen will accelerate innovation to build an international investment environment. It will upgrade business regulations, management and the examination and approval system to build an opening economic system linked to international investment and trade.

Xiamen will promote the foreign economy in foreign investments, trade and economic relationships. It will make a favorable policy to attract foreign investment and give support to Xiamen enterprises to set up an international marketing network and overseas branches.

It will put efforts into promoting consumption, satisfy market supply and serve the public. Xiamen will help build more modern logistics enterprises, such as in e-commerce and cold chain logistics.

The economic growth will also target information consumption, foreign consumption and emerging consumption in culture, physical fitness and old-aged care. The market supply chain is planned to be a long-term and sufficient mechanism, which covers the full gamut of farm to dining table.
