MSR Tourism Promotion Alliance be set up at Xiamen fair

A group of domestic provinces and municipalities, including Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Shandong, Tianjin, Liaoning, and Jilin, will join together and set up a “Tourism Promotion Alliance of the Maritime Silk Road” at the 11th Cross-Strait Travel Fair, which is expected to be held in Xiamen from May 8 to May 10 this year.

The set up of the “Tourism Promotion Alliance of Maritime Silk Road” is under the guidance of the National Tourism Bureau. It will conduct a series of actions, including issuing association declarations, signing cooperation agreements, unifying brand images, product promotion, network promotion, channel explosion, and setting up marketing funds, etc.

Meanwhile, major costal cities, including Xiamen, Fuzhou, Quanzhou, Shanghai, Tianjin, Ningbo, Zhoushan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhanjiang, Shandou, Qingdao, Yantai, and Dalian, among others, will co-build a high-end travel line of the 21 Century Maritime Silk Road in the near future.

Fujian Province is expected to launch more high-end tourism lines and products via cooperation with foreign coastal countries, which is expected to be realized during the 11th Cross-strait Travel Fair.
