Argentine red wine to flow at CIFIT

A delegation from Consulate General of the Argentine Republic in Guangzhou visited Xiamen city, in Fujian province on July 3.

Qiu Guoyue, deputy director of Xiamen Bureau of Convention and Exhibition Affairs, explained the latest development and the highlights of 2015 China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) which will fall on Sept 9 in Xiamen.

Matías Valentín Castellano, deputy consul of the consulate general, specified the participation plans of Argentina in 2015 CIFIT.

First, Argentina will set exhibition booths in the CIFIT for the first time to promote Argentine products, especially red wine.

Second, senior officials from Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold an investment environment explanation forum to explain the country’s investment opportunities and policies.

Third, a red wine tasting party and a red wine business promotion will invite famous red wine companies from Argentina to bring their products, which are drawing increasing attention in the world market.

China and Argentina now have bound a closer economic cooperation. The bilateral trade volume amounted to $15.8 billion in 2014 and China has become the second largest trade partner to Argentina and the third largest investment resource.
