Foreign investment data in 2015 H1

Statistics reveal that the first six months of 2015 has witnessed a more diversified use of inbound foreign investment in Xiamen.

The service sector has received 63.2 percent of the total foreign investment in the first half of 2015.

Modern service business involving electronic commerce, mobile client applications, bonded cultural trade, medical service and financial leasing has taken up a majority 78 percent of the total foreign investment used in the entire service sector.

The high-tech manufacturing industry, covering pharmaceutical, electronic and machinery has accounted for 74 percent of the total foreign investment used in the entire manufacturing sector.

The Xiamen Area of Fujian Free Trade Zone has reeled in 68 foreign-investment projects, by signing contracts worth $370 million in the first half.
