2015 CIFIT to gather young business leaders from Fujian
The 2015 Fujian Businessmen Youth Leaders Summit will convene on Sept 8, from 2:30 pm to 6 pm, at the Straits Hall inside the Xiamen International Conference Center.
More than 1,000 young enterprisers are expected to attend and talk about business and their lives as businessmen in Fujian province, the most dynamic economic region in China, after the recent establishment of the free trade zone and close contact with Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries.
Dong Mingzhu, president of Zhuhai, Guangdong-based Gree Electric Appliances Co, will give a speech on transforming from manufacturing to innovation.
Gree launched its creation – the photovoltaic direct-driven inverter centrifugal chiller-- in Dec 2013. The first of its type in the world, the machine carries 15 patent rights and raises solar energy efficiency by 6 to 8 percent.

Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
