CIFIT to stress Internet financing

The 2015 Internet Finance Summit will be held on Sept 10 in Xiamen, Fujian province, as part of the 2015 China International Fair for Investment & Trade.

Held for the second time, the summit expects to attract 500 participants, including leaders from Xiamen's many promising Internet financing companies.

The Strait Herald, Fujian Daily, Channel Economics journal and Shanshui Tiancheng Culture Co co-sponsored the summit.

Recently, Internet financing has been gaining ground in China. Wangdaizhijia.com, the most comprehensive p2p lending portal in China, reported 3,031 peer-to-peer lending platforms by the end of July 2015.

On July 18, People's Bank of China issued a guideline on Internet financing development, together with nine other central government agencies.
