The China International Fair for Investment & Trade's Invest Across China campaign arrived in the city of Xiangyang, Hubei province in late December to promote the region's organic farm produce and pharmaceuticals, with around two dozen investors from across China taking part in project presentations and business sessions, Dec 20 - 23.

There were also 60 local enterprises taking part, while Xiangyang showed off its leisure tourism and agricultural industries and better products, such as tea, fruits, organic vegetables, traditional Chinese medicinal materials, wine, and poultry and arranged visits for potential investors to the Hongquan Co's eco-agricultural park in the town of Liuhou, the Yuanda Group's grain and oil processing base, the Wudi group, and an industrial park in the village of Qianwan.

The various investment projects are scattered around mountainous areas and use the terrain's advantages for developing organic agriculture and tourism.

The Invest Across China campaign has held seven events to promote regional economies over the last two years and is a roving site for bringing together local enterprises, investors and preferential policies.
