Xiamen district tempts exhibition organizers with cash
Huli district in Xiamen, Fujian province has issued new policies to attract more exhibitions and conventions to the district, according to recent local media reports.
The district will offer three kinds of rewards to exhibitions held in Huli, including rewards for the exhibition itself, rewards for exhibitions attended by overseas companies and subsidies to help pay for the rental of venues.
Rewards for holding the exhibition and getting overseas companies to attend an exhibition can be as high as 400,000 yuan ($58,080), and subsidies offered for venue rental can reach 800,000 yuan.
Exhibitions that last longer than three days in Huli will receive a reward of up to 1 million yuan.
