Electronic music festival to kick off in Xiamen
An electronic music festival entitled I Music Festival will kick off at Fantawild Dreamland in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province on May 25.
The two-day festival, the biggest of its kind in Southeast China, will invite a group of internationally renowned DJs, such as famed Norwegian DJ Alan Walker, Dutch electronic music DJ duo Bassjackers, and Don Diablo, who ranked seventh in the 2018 list of the Top 100 DJs.
According to the event organizer, the stage, which cost nearly 10 million yuan ($1.45 million), will bring the best possible experience to audiences.
Additionally, Fantawild Dreamland, an adventure-themed park, will provide a series of supportive activities during the festival.
Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
