The China (Xiamen) International Trade Single Window will continue to be improved this year in order to further optimize the business environment of the Xiamen Area of the China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone, local news reported on March 9.
As a one-stop service platform for cross-border trade, shipping logistics, administration, and financial services, the China (Xiamen) International Trade Single Window, which began operating in 2015, has launched more than 70 application systems and offered services to over 8,200 enterprises.
The local government will encourage the window to share data to aid in the development of a "digital Xiamen" this year.
Efforts will be made to expand the window's functions to include port logistics, trade, finance, internal trade, transportation, trade promotion, and credit construction, helping Xiamen further optimize the business environment of its ports.
Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
