2021 Xiamen Industry Expo shows off domestic manufacturing strength

The 2021 Xiamen Industry Expo took place in Xiamen, Fujian province from June 8 to 11, showcasing the advanced development of the intelligent manufacturing industry in China.
According to officials, the exhibition area of this year’s expo increased nearly 30 percent while the number of exhibitors increased 25 percent compared with last year.
The latest industrial technologies and products were exhibited at the expo, showcasing the latest application achievements of China's advanced manufacturing technology. More than 90 percent of the exhibitors won contracts or secured intended orders.
Officials noted that the expo this year attracted well-known enterprises from industrially developed regions. In addition, domestic manufacturing companies displayed high-end equipment and products on the exhibition, attracting much attention from industry players.

As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
