At the opening ceremony of the 17th China International Exhibition Culture Festival (CIECF), Xiamen's government and the organizing committee of the China International Transportation and Logistics Expo signed a cooperation framework agreement and announced that Xiamen will hold the 17th China International Logistics Week on Dec 16-18. The city will continue to hold this event for the next four years.

Supported by national authorities, including the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transport, China International Logistics Week has been successfully held in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Kunming, Haikou and other major Chinese cities since 2003. It is considered "the barometer of the logistics industry."

As an influential exhibition activity in China's transportation and logistics area, the 2021 China International Logistics Week will center on the themes of intelligence, people's welfare and green development. It will also focus on high-quality development, which is a priority of the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25).

This year's China International Logistics Week aims to provide a logistics platform for cities and enterprises engaged in global competition. It will highlight the significance of smart logistics and green development and their contribution to people's wellbeing in the future.

There will be six exhibition areas and two themed pavilions at the logistics event, covering transport and logistics services, logistics technologies and support, emergency logistics and pandemic prevention and control. The two themed pavilions will display logistics-related products and services closely associated with people's daily lives – cross-border logistics, express delivery and logistics robots.

Meanwhile, the event is also designed to demonstrate China's comprehensive progress in transportation and logistics, upholding the principles of being authoritative, practical, diversified and international.
