14th Cross-Straits Cultural Industries Fair to kick off in Xiamen

The 14th Cross-Straits (Xiamen) Cultural Industries Fair, or CCCIF, will take place at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center in Xiamen, Fujian province from Jan 7 to 10.

Various exhibitions and sub-events will be held in different exhibition sections at the fair. For instance, the provincial and municipal comprehensive exhibition section will feature theme exhibitions and cross-Straits leading companies, the cultural tourism exhibition section will showcase Fujian's tourism characteristics, while the creative design section will exhibit creative cultural designs from cross-Straits universities.

This year's CCCIF will serve as a vital platform for cross-Straits cultural communication and cooperation, as well as investment and trade. A variety of cutting-edge digital technologies, especially artificial intelligence and audio-visual technology, will be showcased at the fair to empower digitalization.

In addition, this year's CCCIF will carry on serving as a matchmaking platform for the cultural tourism industry. Cooperating agreements on 93 major cultural tourism projects were reached at the fair last year, with a total value of 38.82 billion yuan ($6.08 billion).

This year's CCCIF will also connect the government with companies for project matchmaking. Meetings for attracting investments, interpreting industrial policies, and introducing the city's business environment will be held at the fair. The highest project signing amount at previous CCCIF editions is 186, with the highest contract value being 50.72 billion yuan.
