Xiamen diagnostic company's medical institute acquires global common ID

The International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation granted the medical institution of AmoyDx, an R&D based diagnostic enterprise in Xiamen, Fujian province, ISO 15189 certification, making it a certified laboratory, local media outlets reported on Feb 8.
This means that the medical institute's multi-technology platforms, such as PCR, NGS, FISH, and Sanger, can provide testing reports that are accepted by worldwide medical institutions, and that the institute's testing results can be shared across many countries.
AmoyDx's medical institute is a major platform for providing professional molecular testing to medical institutions, pharmaceutical corporations, and industry specialists. .
ISO 15189 is an accreditation guideline for the quality and competence of medical laboratories and was published by the International Organization for Standardization.
AmoyDx will be able to explore worldwide strategic layout and collaborate in clinical research with pharmaceutical companies once ISO 15189 is accredited.
