Xiamen holds events to boost consumption in March

Xiamen in Fujian province is holding a consumption promotion event to boost female consumption in March as the 112th International Women's Day approaches, which falls on March 8.
The event, which is held both online and offline, promotes consumption by offering flash sales and subsidies in catering, households, and lodging to benefit more female consumers and boost consumption growth.
For example, the event offers a special coupon card that customers can purchase through a WeChat mini program called "Zhudianquan" in order to receive discounts in sectors such as guesthouses, house cleaning, and afternoon tea.
Furthermore, the consumption promotion event will collaborate with companies in Xiamen's Siming district to provide a unique salon for women only on March 7. Make-up classes and coffee tasting will be offered at the salon.
