22nd CIFIT to showcase metaverse exhibition hall
The 22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade, or CIFIT, will be held in Xiamen, Fujian province from Sept 8 to 11.
Gathering creative designs from metaverse-related companies in Xiamen, this year's CIFIT will hold a series of metaverse activities such as the "metaverse AR show" and the "naked-eye 3D show" through technologies including a 3D exhibition hall, AR, VR, and virtual livestreaming.
A metaverse venue has been modeled based on the CIFIT venue Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center, containing a social hall and three sub-pavilions to provide an immersive social experience for online audiences.
Audience members can access the metaverse venue via CIFIT's mobile application, WeChat mini program and official website and visit the exhibition using their own avatars, and communicate with other audience members and check out other businesses' information.
