The 2022 China (Xiamen) International Cross-Border E-Commerce Industry Expo (ICEIE) will kick off at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center in Xiamen, Fujian province on Nov 10.

This year's expo consists of three major exhibition areas for cross-border selections, cross-border platforms and comprehensive services providers, and cross-border imports.

Nearly 30 major cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Global Selling, Alibaba.com, eBay, and Walmart will attend the expo.

Over 1,000 exhibitors covering over 30 industries from over 20 provinces, cities and districts nationwide are scheduled to exhibit quality products including home appliances, furniture, auto parts, clothing, shoes, bags and sports equipment at the expo.

This year's expo has attracted trading groups from nearly 40 provinces, cities and districts to carry out match-making, purchasing, and information and resource exchanges in Xiamen.

Featured exhibition areas such as the ones for BRICS countries will help Xiamen seize developmental opportunities, explore cooperation agreements and boost a higher-level of opening-up.

In addition, as this year marks the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, a serial event for Japanese companies to visit Fujian is scheduled to be held during the expo.

A featured exhibition hall for Japan is also set up at this year's expo, aiming to boost communication and cooperation through economic and trade exchanges between China and Japan. Leading Japanese companies like Panasonic, JFE Holdings, and Toyota Tsusho Corporation have confirmed their attendance for the expo in Xiamen.
