The Xiamen wedding trade association was officially established on Nov 22 at the inaugural meeting of the first board of directors and supervisors of Xiamen wedding trade association. The association is expected to further integrate the resources within the wedding trade industry, bring more benefits to related business units and promote the orderly and sound development of related industries.

The establishment was officially announced after more than half a year's preparation and it serves as the first business association that gathers the upstream and downstream industry chains of the wedding trade industry in China.

According to Zheng Minglie, first president of the association and chairman of Xiamen Wiener Cultural Industry Co, the association will not only build a platform for the development of enrolled enterprises, but give full play to leading enterprises to promote product development, cooperation between enterprises and marketing within the association.

According to Chen Yuejin, deputy director of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, accelerating the pace of developing a better wedding service industry will help achieve high-quality development and meet the inherent requirements of building Xiamen into a modern international city.
