Home services activity kicks off in Xiamen
The 10th edition of Xiamen's housekeeping festival and 2023 promotional activity of home services industry kicked off on March 4.
The event is hosted by Xiamen's home services industry association, under the guidance of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Xiamen Development and Reform Commission, Xiamen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, general labor union of Xiamen, and women's federation of Xiamen.
At the event, a total of 51 home services enterprises held promotional activities in fields such as babysitting, house moving and electrical appliances cleaning.
At the same time, 20 working professionals that have worked in the industry for years received certificates of competence, and 16 enterprises were credited as 2022 "good faith enterprises".
Employees from the 51 enterprises also gave gave detailed explanations of their services to help visitors better understand the home services industry.
Xiamen has always strived to improve the ability of laborers working in the home services industry, and fruitful results have been yielded. Last year, a number of training programs were released, and a team from Xiamen has won the top prize for four years in a row at the Fujian vocational competition of home services.
