Xiamen enterprises enter import, export fair
The China Import and Export Fair is taking place from April 15 to May 5 in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, and has an exhibition area of 1.5 million square meters.
A total of 381 Xiamen enterprises with more than 7,000 participants have traveled to the fair, and their products are showcased in 1,571 booths.
On the first day of the fair, Lin Zhenya, deputy director of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, visited some of the booths of Xiamen enterprises, and asked them about their advantages and the number of orders they received in the first quarter of this year. Lin also encouraged enterprises to seize the opportunity brought about by the fair to transform themselves into self-owned brand exporters.

This edition of the fair is the 133rd one, and there are 34,933 enterprises participating in the fair offline and 39,281 online. Three exhibition areas have been newly opened for industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing, new energy and intelligently connected vehicles, and maternity products.

In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
