Xiamen enterprises achieve success in global expansion efforts
Between May and June, Xiamen enterprises took part in 26 overseas exhibitions related to sectors such as stone materials, sanitary ware, clothing, footwear, and food products. These exhibitions took place in countries including Germany, the Philippines, Australia, Russia, and Hungary.
To date, 163 Xiamen enterprises have participated in 61 foreign exhibitions. The combined value of intended orders resulting from these exhibitions was more than 5 billion yuan ($690 million).
One outstanding performer is Xiamen Audsen Footwear Co, which showcased its offerings at exhibitions held in Italy, Germany, and Japan. At the Italian exhibition, the company engaged in face-to-face interactions with existing clients while establishing connections with over 20 new ones.
Presently, the company is actively pursuing opportunities arising from the recently concluded Expo Riva Schuh, a prestigious shoe exhibition in Italy, and anticipates securing intended orders worth more than 7 million yuan.

As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
