The train was loaded with 110 TEUs of cargo, which included diesel generators and diapers. The train is expected to depart from Horgos Port in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region four days later and head for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The China-Europe (Xiamen) Railway Express has operated 1,213 trips involving 100,009 TEUs of cargo valued at $4.5 billion since August 2015.

The goods transported along this route include electronics, machinery, daily necessities, and new energy vehicles.

The China-Europe (Xiamen) Railway Express currently operates three routes to Europe, Central Asia, and Russia. It is also connected to seaports where the Silk Road Maritime ships set off, forming a seamless international logistics corridor involving sea and land.

Goods from neighboring countries and regions including Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia have been able to transit through Xiamen, reducing the original transportation time of more than 30 days to the current 20 days.

To ensure smooth customs clearance for the China-Europe (Xiamen) freight trains, Xiamen Customs has introduced a "single window" platform for international trade to enhance inter-departmental collaboration and streamline procedures for enterprise declaration and inspection.
