Xiamen delegation shines at CIFTIS

A delegation from Xiamen, which is known as a pioneer of service trade innovation in China, is attending the China International Fair for Trade in Service, which started in Beijing on Sept 2.
Themed "digital empowerment, cultural leadership, and brand advancement", the Xiamen pavilion is showcasing new technologies, new business formats, and new services in Xiamen's service trade. It also features seven exhibitors from service trade areas such as traditional Chinese medicine services, digital services, cultural services, and knowledge services.
Among the exhibitors at the pavilion is the Xiamen Hospital of TCM. The hospital is showcasing its teabags, paste prescriptions, sachets, and TCM equipment such as moxibustion boxes, auricular acupuncture, and Guasha boards. It is also holding knowledge-sharing sessions for the audience.
Another exhibitor is Xiamen International Book Company, which been designated as a key national cultural export enterprise for seven consecutive terms. The company is showcasing a variety of multilingual books that it has exported to promote international copyright trade in books.

Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
