Several enterprises in Xiamen have launched new construction projects so far this year.

The construction of a new specialized industrial park called the Sunyear Industrial Park, funded by Xiamen Sunyear Electronics, has commenced in the Xiamen Machinery Industrial Concentration Zone. It is currently being designed and is expected to be completed in April 2026.

The Sunyear Industrial Park will cover a total land area of 31,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 94,000 square meters. It will feature six multi-story factory buildings, one high-rise factory building, one dormitory building, and more.

The industrial park will focus on the manufacturing of electronic functional ceramic materials and microwave devices and will include eight production lines for new energy battery cathode materials.

Upon reaching full production capacity, it is projected to produce 10,000 tons of cathode materials, 10,000 tons of functional ceramic materials, and 300 million units of various microwave ceramic devices every year.

Meanwhile, the third phase of a Xiamen Silan Microelectronics project is progressing rapidly. The 12-inch production line at Silan Microelectronics has achieved a monthly capacity of 60,000 wafers. With the commencement of the projec's third phase, the monthly capacity of the 12-inch production line is expected to increase to 80,000 wafers.

Since the beginning of 2024, Xiamen Weldconn Technology has been accelerating the construction of its expanded factory facilities, and they are expected to be completed by July this year.

In recent years, Weldconn has focused on the production and sales of fitness equipment, and its new factory building is expected to bring about a significant increase in the company's production capacity.
