The 2024 Xiamen International Flower Trails (XIFT) event opened in Haicang district, Xiamen on April 22. Approximately 80 domestic and international exhibitors participated, seeking business opportunities and promoting the high-quality development of the flower economy. 

This year, the exhibition area covers 40,000 square meters and is divided into sections such as a greenhouse plant exhibition area, greenhouse planting exhibition area, and lawn and landscape wildflower exhibition area.

It showcases over 1,200 new and superior flower varieties, offering a comprehensive floral feast that fully demonstrates international cutting-edge achievements in research and development related to flower breeding, flower production and planting technologies, the protection of flower varieties, and the application of new flower varieties.

At this exhibition, nine varieties, such as "MATATA" and "Jollies", won the gold medal of the "New Flower Variety Award" due to their outstanding characteristics and unique colors.

Each participating exhibitor showcased their flagship products, particularly focusing on new and superior flower varieties from the past three years, varieties that have won awards in international competitions, and best-selling varieties in the international market.

The exhibition also hosted supporting activities such as the International Summit Forum on the Revitalization of the Floriculture Industry. 

This provided a great opportunity for domestic and international flower companies to communicate and collaborate, as well as conduct industry negotiations.

The exhibition is open to the public for free from April 22 to May 5. During this period, the event will also feature flower research and study programs, eco-friendly floral art salons, and activities such as flower-themed pastry and beverage making.
