Xiamen enterprises shine at 135th Canton Fair with over $250 million in transactions

The 135th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, concluded on May 5 in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province. 

Xiamen enterprises achieved remarkable results with total transactions exceeding $250 million, an 8.7 percent increase compared to the 134th Canton Fair. 

A total of 559 Xiamen enterprises participated at the 135th Canton Fair, with 1,831 booths in total. Among these, there were 359 branded booths and 1,472 general booths, with 18 companies making their first appearance at the event. 

At this year's fair, the Xiamen enterprise booths were bustling with activity, showcasing new products, meeting clients, and sealing deals.

Xiamen's local export brand, Golden Home, secured orders exceeding $1 million at this year's Canton Fair. With a 90 percent visitation rate from existing clients, primarily from Europe and the United States, the company demonstrated its success on an international platform. 

Xiamen ITG Group showcased its various subsidiaries, including a textile center, nonferrous minerals, paper industry and health technology. Their exhibits received high praise from international buyers. 

Cumulative on-site transactions exceeded $5 million, with cooperation intentions surpassing tens of millions of dollars. The proportion of new customers and growth rates both reached historic highs.

As a leading enterprise in the massage equipment industry, OGAWA Group invited over 80 existing clients to the event for experiences and discussions. They also attracted over 1,000 new visitors from regions such as the Middle East, South America, and Russia, with key prospective clients accounting for nearly 20 percent of the total.
