24th CIFIT to unveil 'Invest in China' matchmaking zone
The "Invest in China" matchmaking zone will for the first time be featured at the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), which will be held at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center from Sept 8 to 11 in Halls B3-B5.
The zone creatively incorporates the "exhibition and negotiation" model, providing various investment promotion forms such as roadshows, negotiations, and promotions to create a precise communication platform for all parties. This initiative is intended to help establish the "Invest in China" brand.
The zone is divided into three parts: "Financial Capital Matchmaking", "Dialogue with Specialized and Innovative Hidden Champions", and "Selecting Economic Development Zones". It covers an area of 13,122 square meters and will host over 100 showcasing institutions, including domestic and foreign financial capital, high-quality small and medium enterprises, and national-level economic development zones.
The focus of the zone will be on developing new quality productive forces, with particular emphasis on industries such as artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, life sciences, health, and green low-carbon sectors.
The zone's multifunctional layout includes areas such as a pitching stage, matchmaking zone, and negotiation corners. It will host project roadshows, thematic presentations, matchmaking negotiations, and other investment promotion activities.
This setup is designed to provide a platform for domestic and foreign enterprises to connect and collaborate, enhancing the effectiveness of investment promotion during the CIFIT and attracting more investments in emerging sectors.
Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
