In a bid to boost the expansion of companies into international markets, the Hailian Reception Hall – Xiamen Enterprises Going Global and Overseas Invest Overseas Conference, sponsored by the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, was held at Sea World on Dec 10. 

Xiamen's commerce bureau is accelerating the establishment of service points in key countries and regions where the city's external commercial and economic activities are particularly active. 

This year, nine new investment and trade service points will be set up to help provide services for Xiamen's enterprises to "go global" and "bring in" investments.

The service points in question are UAE Service Point, Brazil Service Point, the South Africa Service Point, Germany Service Point, Mexico Service Point, Hong Kong Service Point, Russia Service Point, UK Service Point and Kazakhstan Service Point.

Lin Zhenya, deputy director of the Xiamen commerce bureau, said the service points would further enhance Xiamen's level of two-way trade and investment, promoting the high-quality development of the city's outwards-oriented economy. 

The head of the Brazil Service Point said that moving forwards, the service points would uphold the concept of "connecting internationally for win-win cooperation", in order to really assist Xiamen enterprises in setting sail for overseas markets.
