To further enhance consumer satisfaction within the time-honored brand environment and uphold the excellent reputation of Xiamen's time-honored brands, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Xiamen Municipal Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office) conducted a special campaign to regulate the market order of time-honored brands on the occasion of the 42nd International Consumer Rights Day.

The campaign focused on standardizing the use and management of time-honored brand logos and plaques, combating market counterfeiting of these brands, and promoting the establishment and improvement of a long-term protection mechanism for the intellectual property rights of time-honored brands. The activities included specialized training, joint inspections, and discussion.

A specialized training session on brand protection for time-honored enterprises was convened on March 14. The training featured expert presentations from relevant fields, attracting over 100 representatives and inheritors of time-honored brands.

Through the training, participants gained insights into the proper application of time-honored brand logos in actual operations and they increased their awareness of brand protection and regulatory compliance.

On the same day, a joint market inspection team conducted a regulatory patrol from the Eighth Market to Zhongshan Road. The team scrutinized the enterprises for the correct use of time-honored brand logos and the appropriate display of plaques. Non-compliant practices were promptly identified by the inspectors, who required rectifications within a specified timeframe.
