The highly anticipated 2025 International Conference on Display Technology (ICDT 2025), is set to take place in Xiamen from March 22 to 25 bringing together top experts, scholars, and industry leaders from across the globe. 

The premier event will serve as a platform to showcase the latest achievements and application prospects, cutting-edge breakthroughs and future trends in the display industry, in 18 display technology fields, featuring 81 sub-forums, including 158 invited presentations, 209 oral presentations, and 496 poster presentations. 

Key topics include Mini/Micro LED, highly integrated semiconductor information displays, AI-powered imaging and display technologies, human factors and visual health, VR/AR/MR and the metaverse, as well as carbon footprint assessment technologies for the display industry. The event will facilitate in-depth discussions and exchanges on these key issues.

At the opening ceremony, the SID China Display Technology Innovation Service Platformwill be launched. This platform will focus on cutting-edge technologies such as information display, blockchain, and AI. 

Simultaneously, SID China, in collaboration with leading enterprises in the display industry, initiated a proposal for low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and sustainable development across the entire display industry chain.  The launch of this initiative aims to encourage more companies and experts to participate in exploring carbon emission calculation methods for various stages of display material development, manufacturing, and supply chain management. 

These two activities became highlights of ICDT 2025, showcasing the dual driving forces of technological innovation and green development.
