The district's Suzhou Wu Dynasty Museum holds one of the country's largest collections of bronze wares from the Wu Dynasty (222-280).
In addition, its stone pagoda engraved with thousands of Buddhas from the Southern Song Dynasty of 850 years ago is the only complete one nationwide.
